Sulur PPC is situated beside NH81, giving it direct access to the road transport. This location is a major vegetable growing and trading cluster. Sulur PPC is well equipped with a packhouse and additional handing area to handle about 8.25 MT of vegetables on a daily basis. This PPC is established to focus on handling Vegetables, Onion, Cucurbits. A cold storage unit with a capacity of 40 MT is provided to stroe the primary processed vegetables. Other basic amenities such as admin block, power station and sanitary blocks are also provided inside the premises.
A quality control lab is provided in the facility for the assessment of the quality of produce before and after processing. This is to ensure the quality standards of the produce delivered from processing center.
