Sullikoodu PPC is situated about 8 kms from Kothagiri and in Kothagiri-Kodanadu Rd, giving it easy access to road transport. This location is a major vegetable growing and trading cluster. It caters the trading, processing and export community of production clusters near Sullikoodu. The crop grown around a radius of 30km can be processed in Sullikoodu PPC.
Sullikoodu PPC is well equipped with a packhouse and additional handling area to handle about 12 MT of vegetables on a daily basis. This PPC is established to focus on handling Potato, Carrot, Radish, Beetroot, Turnip. A cold storage unit with a capacity of 7 MT is provided to store the primary processed vegetables. Other basic amenities such as admin block, power station and sanitary blocks are also provided inside the premises.
A quality control lab is provided in the facility for the assessment of the quality of produce before and after processing. This is to ensure the quality standards of the produce delivered from processing center.
